Dane and Lynda Kayak

Time: 3.15 hours Distance: 9.7 miles   We put into the Yamhill River at Dayton Landing County Park. We paddled up-river until we reached the Willamette river, took a short break to look for rocks and then paddled back down-river. It was a beautiful day with temperatures around 70 and an intermittent light breeze. We only saw two boats and a couple paddlers so we had the river pretty much to ourselves. Time: 3.05 hours Distance: 8.2 miles   We put into the Willamette River at Willamette Park in West Linn on a warm day that also happened to by Lynda's birthday. We paddled up river about 4 miles before turning back. The wind picked up a bit the last 1/2 hour but the rest of the trip was calm and there were only a few other paddlers on the water. Time: 2.47 hours Distance: 8.51 miles   We put into Multnomah Channel at the Sauvie Island Boat Ramp and paddled down-river for several miles before turning back. It was a sunny warm day with temperatures eventually reaching over 90 but there was a light breeze on the water most of the trip making it much more pleasant.
