Dane and Lynda Kayak

Time: 2.5 hours Distance:  7.86 miles   We put into the Columbia River from Henry J. Kaiser Memorial Shipyard in Vancouver WA and paddled up-river to the I205 bridge before turning back. The day was warm and sunny with light winds and very few boats. We hit a bit of rough water on the way back but nothing too extreme. Time: 2.45 hours Distance: 8.05 miles   We put into the Tualatin River at Brown's Ferry Park in Tualatin and paddled up-river until we hit the dam before turning back. It was a pleasant but somewhat overcast day with mild temperatures and little wind.
