7/7/2025 - Deschutes River, Big River Campground, Sun River, OR

Distance: 9.01 miles

 

We put into the Deschutes River from Big River Campground near Sun River OR on a beautiful warm morning. We paddled up-river for several miles before turning back. The only traffic was a couple of people floating down-river and one, slow, motor boat which was great. The weather was awesome and the scenery was incredible. Great paddle!
