7/19/2025 - Columbia River, Broughton Beach Park, Portland, OR

Distance: 8.17 miles

 

We put into the Columbia River from Broughton Beach Park in Portland and paddled up-river to the I205 Bridge before turning back. It was a warm day with light winds and the park was fairly busy but the river traffic was surprisingly light. The wind picked up just a bit on the way back and near the end the water got a little rougher but overall a very pleasant paddle.
