5/10/2025 - Multnomah Channel, St. Hellens, OR

We put into the end of Mulnomah Channel at St. Helens, paddled up-stream to a small slough at the west end of Sauvie Island then up the slough for a couple more miles. Dane had just replaced the foot pegs in his kayak and had put them in backwards so he had to make the entire trip without foot pegs (not good). Still the day was pleasant and other than a bunch of stationary boats fishing at the start of the trip there was no traffic at all.
