7/8/2024 - Moses Lake, Connelley Park, Moses Lake, WA

We put into Moses Lake at Connelley Park early in the morning of what would be a very hot day (reached 105 F). We paddled west for several miles before returning to the park to get out. The morning got quite warm and there was very little breeze but there were also very few boats and the water was calm though quite filled with algae. The landscape was pretty barren so there wasn't a lot to look at but the trip was pleasant though a plunge into the lake would have been a very welcome way to end if it wasn't for how dirty the water was.
