2/18/2024 - Trask River/Dougherty Slough/Stillwell Slough, Carnahan Park, Tillamook, OR

Distance: 9.26 miles

We put into the Trask River at Carnahan Park in Tillamook, OR, paddled down-river then onto Dougherty Slough which we followed as far as we could. We then turned back and headed up Stillwell Slough again as far as we could before finally turning back and heading back to Carnahan Park. The tide was going out the entire trip and the last stretch on the Trask River was very slow going making for a tough final push. We had some drizzle in the first half-hour of the trip but then it stopped and we enjoyed dry conditions with little rain for the rest of the trip.
