5/6/2023 - Willamette River, Stevens Point, Portland, OR

Distance: 9.2 miles

We put into the Willamette River once again from Stevens Point in Portland. We paddled down river then around Ross Island taking a detour into the lagoon at the center of the Island then up-river to about the middle of the Waverly Country Club before turning back. The day was pleasant if cloudy though we did hit just a small amount of rain in the last half-hour. There were quite a number of boats out but they were mostly just sitting still and fishing so no real concern.
