1/28/2023 - Columbia River, Collin's Beach, Sauvie Island, OR

Distance: 9.99 miles

We put into the Columbia River at Collin's Beach on Sauvie Island and paddled up-river for about five miles before turning back. The river was the calmest we'd ever seen. It was almost glassy and the paddling was extremely smooth for most of the trip. We only encountered a couple boats on the way back, the wind was never more than a light breeze and we escaped all rain. A nice winter paddle.
