8/29/2021 - Tualatin River, Farmington Paddle Launch, Hillsboro, OR

Time: 2.2 hours Distance: 7 miles We put into the Tualatin River on a late Sunday afternoon for a short paddle with Pico. The river was fairly busy with other paddlers but the weather was very pleasant with temperatures in the 70's and a gentle breeze. We paddled at an easy pace and Pico seemed to find his stride in the kayak this (the second) time. Lynda preparing to put in. Pico preparing to put in. Pico and Lynda enjoying the paddle early on. 8/22/2021 - Multnomah Channel / Willamette River, Sauvie Island Boat Ramp, Sauvie Island, OR

Time: 2.75 hours Distance: 9.4 miles We put into the Multnomah Channel at Sauvie Island Boat Ramp on a cool and overcast day. We paddled up-river to where the channel meets the Willamette River then down-river for a short distance before we encountered wind and showers which we did not come prepared for. After turning back a bit earlier than anticipated the showers stopped and the rest of the paddle was calm and pleasant. Lynda preparing to put-in. Lynda paddling up the Channel just after putting in. 8/14/2021 - Willamette River, Hebb Park, West Linn, OR

Time: 2.83 hours Distance: 9.5 miles We put into the Willamette River at Hebb Park and paddled up-river to just past the I-5 bridge. The day was sunny and warm but there was a lot of river traffic which produced heavy swells throughout the trip. Lynda on the dock preparing to put in. 8/7/2021 - Columbia River, Woodland Bottoms Water Access, Woodland, WA

Time: 2.97 hours Distance: 9.48 miles We put into the Columbia River at Woodland Bottoms Water Access on an overcast but pleasant Saturday morning. The temperature was in the 70's throughout the paddle, river traffic was light and the water and air were calm. We paddled up-river to where the Lewis River met the Columbia before turning back.
