8/22/2021 - Multnomah Channel / Willamette River, Sauvie Island Boat Ramp, Sauvie Island, OR

We put into the Multnomah Channel at Sauvie Island Boat Ramp on a cool and overcast day. We paddled up-river to where the channel meets the Willamette River then down-river for a short distance before we encountered wind and showers which we did not come prepared for. After turning back a bit earlier than anticipated the showers stopped and the rest of the paddle was calm and pleasant.
