Distance: 10.52 miles

Our original plan was to put into the Tualatin River at Cook's Park but when we got there we discovered the park was closed to all non-pedestrian traffic. Lynda quickly found two additional places to put in, both also on the Tualatin but one turned out to be private and at the second we found the Tualatin was running very swift. We decided we didn't want to fight current all day so we settled on Boones Ferry Marina. It turned out well. The day was sunny and pleasant and river traffic was almost non-existent.
