Dane and Lynda Kayak

Time: 2.7 hours Distance: 8.3 miles We put into the Nehalem River at the public boat dock in Nehalem, OR, paddle up-river onto the North Fort of the Nehalem River then a few more miles. Time: 1.85 hours Distance: 6 miles We put into the Willamette River from Willamette Park in Portland and paddled up-river. It was a cooler overcast day but no rain, light breeze and no boats. The trip was shortened by the quickly flowing river. When we got to the narrows we had a hard time getting through so we turned back. Lynda preparing to put in.
