11/8/2024 - Nehalem River, Nehalem, OR

We put into the Nehalem River at Nehalem on the morning of Dane's birthday. We paddled up-river past the Necanicum Hwy bridge before turning back. The day was overcast but pleasant temperatures for November and we encountered very little wind and only one boat on the way (a row boat paddled by a grumpy guy who decided he should but into our conversation from across the river). Other than the brief encounter with the asshole the trip was very nice.
