7/10/2024 - Potholes Reservoir, Potholes State Park, WA

We put into Potholes Reservoir at Potholes State Park south of Moses Lake and spend the trip paddling through the wetland islands. Another hot day was forecast (107 F) so we were in the water early. We saw quite a variety of wildlife including all manner of birds, giant carp splashing an jumping constantly in the shallow water and several deer foraging on the small islands.
