3/23/2024 - Willamette River, Stevens Point, Portland, OR

Distance: 9.04 miles

We put into the Willamette River from Stevens Point, paddled down river then around Ross Island. Into the Ross Island lagoon where we saw dozens of 2-3 fish jumping out of the water, then back up-river for some distance before returning to Stevens Point. There were quite a few boat on the river but we avoided most of the rain until the final couple minutes before we got out. All in all a decent winter paddle.
