Dane and Lynda Kayak

Time: 2.37 hours Distance: 7.87 miles We put into the Tualatin River from the Farmington Paddle Launch for a shorter trip. The river was running higher than summer but not as high as we've seen previously so we paddled down river (a trip we hadn't made in quite some time) to the Eagle Landing before turning back. Time: 2.97 hours Distance: 9.67 miles We put in at Memaloos Point in Tillamook, OR, paddled across the Tillamook River to where the Wilson River meets it then up the Wilson until it became two swift to paddle and then back. The day was cool with intermittent rain and we encountered a number of small boats fishing on the river but the paddle was a new one for us and we enjoyed it. Lynda preparing to put in. Time: 3.28 hours Distance: 10.31 miles We put into the Nehalem River in Nehalem, OR, paddled up-river to where the Nehalem and the North Fork met then up the North Fork for several miles.
