Image
Time: 3.07 hours Distance: 8.41 miles We put into Scappoose Bay at the Scappoose Bay Marina and spend the day paddling around the marshy areas exploring different inlets and lakes. The river was up higher than normal so we were able to access several places not normally below water. The rain held off the entire trip so we had a pleasant paddle. Lynda preparing to put in. Lynda paddling in the bay early in the trip. Lynda coming out of a side channel. Lynda paddling up a small side channel. Dane paddling up a small side channel. Another small side channel. We paddled up-river to just past the I-205 bridge before turning back. All in all a good paddle. Lynda preparing to put in. Lynda taking a short break to look for rocks. Misty beach on the way up-river. The Columbia River. Lynda paddling up-river.
