11/11/2022 - Trask River/Dougherty Slough/Stillwell Slough, Carnahan Park, Tillamook, OR

Distance:  9.35 miles

We put into the Trask River at Carnahan Park in Tillamook, OR on a cool, overcast and rainy day. We paddled down-river then into Dougherty Slough where we paddled until we were blocked by a low bridge then back up Stillwell Slough for about 3/4 of a mile before finally turning back. The tide turned during our trip and started going out making the last mile up-river against the tide on the Trask slow going.
