9/8/2022 - Deschutes River/Spring River/Little Deschutes River, SROA Boat Ramp, Sunriver, OR

We put into the Deschutes River at the Sunriver Owner's Association Boat ramp in Sunriver OR on a cool and sunny morning. We paddled up-river to Spring River which we went up until we found it blocked, then back out to the Deschutes, up-river for a while longer then onto the Little Deschutes River where we paddled until we crossed through a hole on a golf course where we turned back. We encountered a few other paddlers but the day was mostly quiet with temperatures reaching the low 70's before the end of the trip and very little wind. A great paddle.

Spring River was crystal clear with a clean bottom and an almost uniform depth. Very beautiful.
