2/6/2022 - Columbia Slough, Kelly Point Park, Portland, OR

 We put into the Columbia Slough from a small turn-out near the entrance to Kelly Point Park on a cool foggy morning. We'd paddled the Slough one other time during late Spring but found it to be rather dirty and bad smelling. This time the water was flowing much faster leaving it cleaner in both sight and smell. The fog cleared after about an hour giving way to sun and making for a very pleasant paddle.
