5/16/2021 - Yamhill River, Lafayette Locks Park, Lafayette, OR

We put into the Yamhill River at Lafayette Locks Park and paddled down river towards the Willamette before turning back. It was a beautiful day with highs in the mid 80's but the river was crowded with other kayakers and some fishermen. As with the last time we put in at Lafayette Locks the portage to and from the river was difficult and somewhat treacherous.
