7/11/2020 - Tillamook Bay, Tillamook, OR

We put in at Memaloose Point right at low tide. We mistimed the put in thinking we were starting out around an hour after low tide. The entire day we fought against sand bars and were generally paddling in a foot of water or less. The original plan was to work our way down the West side of the bay to where it exits into the Pacific but we didn't make it anywhere near that location. Weather was fair at least so the trip was pleasant if somewhat disappointing.
