6/14/2020 - Willamette River, Hebb Park, West Linn, OR
Time: 3.6 hours
Distance: 11 miles
Hebb Park was finally opened from it's long closure for Covid-19 so we put in there. We'd planned to paddle up to where the Pudding River enters the Willamette and then paddle up the Pudding but we found that the Pudding was flowing too quickly to paddle up it. We scouted for suitable portage points but discovered more swift water up just a bit further so decided to just paddle up the Willamette instead. The day was pleasant and river traffic was light though the section of the Willamette we paddled wasn't either of our favorites.
