Dane and Lynda Kayak

Time: 3.1 hours Distance: 10.1 miles Back to the Lewis river on a beautiful last day of August. This time we went up the main fork of the river into Woodland until we started hitting areas we had to portage to get around. Lynda preparing to put in. Lynda heading out. Dane heading up river. Time: 1.4 hours Distance: 4.8 miles A quick late-afternoon trip to the Tualatin River to try our first trip with Pico. Time: 4 hours Distance: 12.7 miles Another trip on the Tualatin River but this time on a stretch we hadn't previously paddled. We put in at Cook Park and paddled up river to bridge at Roy Rogers Road. A beautiful day and after the first half mile there were very few people on the river. Lynda preparing to put in.
