Dane and Lynda Kayak

Time: 2.75 hours Distance: 8.3 miles In stark contrast to the previous day the weather was fantastic with clear skies and temperatures in the upper 60's. We put in at Nehalem and explored the North Fork of the Nehalem River for the first time. A thoroughly enjoyable paddle to end a nice weekend with Lynda, Erin and I. Time: 2.25 hours Distance: 6.5 miles We put in at Garibaldi in the rain and it got worse through the day. We didn't come prepared with weather gear and paid for that decision. The water was fairly calm but the rain and wind coupled with our lack of preparedness made for an abbreviated trip. Lynda preparing to put in. Dane preparing to put in. Time: 2.8 hours Distance: 8 miles A 90 degree day in early May. We put in at Willamette Park and paddled upriver to the Lake Oswego Railroad Bridge.
